Whenever you meet someone new, whether it’s socially or a business opportunity, invariably after the topic of the biz comes up and you do your 30 second elevator pitch, the new person will say “ohhhhh...so you do, like, gift hampers?”
We nod through gritted teeth.
When we started our biz, we felt like the word hamper was pretty tired, as were a lot of the items you find in an old-school hamper.
Have you ever worked in an office and the IT company or HR consultant sends a gift hamper for the office to share? And after the ribbon and cellophane come off, you’ve got peanuts or slightly stale pretzel sticks or something equally as crappy to choose as your “share” in the gift?
