How do our lovely gift boxes get from our studio to your nominated door?
We use Sendle to courier our gift boxes to you and your loved ones. Sendle is a registered B Corp (meaning they use the power of business to create a positive impact on the world) and is Australia's first carbon neutral delivery service. Woo-hoo!
How long will my gift box take to arrive?
With a regular order, we can't guarantee your exact arrival day with our regular Sendle shipping because of the logistics of sending goodies around the country! To give you an idea of estimated times:
To Perth: next business day.
To Regional WA:
Hey, WA is pretty big guys so it depends where your gift is headed...but to give you a bit of an idea...to Busselton, Margaret River or Geraldton it's 2-4 business days.
To Melbourne: 4-6 business days.
To Sydney: 4-6 business days.
To Adelaide: 3-4 business days.
To Canberra: 4-6 business days.
To Hobart: 4-6 business days.
To Brisbane: 6-7 business days.
To Darwin: 7 business days.
What if I've forgotten a really important birthday/special occasion (eek!) and I need urgent delivery?
Please contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss any urgent delivery needs. Please do get in touch even if you're really disorganised, and we will get your gift box out at breakneck speed. Please note that because this may use a different shipping method, it may incur an extra cost, which we will discuss with you on an individual basis.
How much will shipping cost?
For regular shipping, we use a two-tiered flat rate shipping model, meaning no nasty surprises when you get to the checkout.
For deliveries within the Perth Metro Area or to other major cities or hubs within Australia, the flat rate is $9.95 per box.
For regional areas within WA or other states, the flat rate is $19.95 per box.
If you aren't sure which shipping rate you fall into, don't worry! The shipping will be automatically calculated during the checkout process, depending on the delivery postcode you punch in.

Can I track my gift box?
You sure can! When the parcel is picked up from The Small Batch Gift Co HQ, Sendle will notify you via email and include a delivery estimate, as well as a handy tracking link so that you can track your gift's ride. Once the gift box is delivered into your loved one's hot little hands, Sendle will then notify you again.
What happens if no one is home?
Good question! Once the box makes it to its destination, there needs to be someone there to sign for it. We wouldn't want such a gorgeous present to go AWOL. In this case the driver will leave a card to organise a redelivery or they’ll take it somewhere nearby (such as a newsagency) for the receiver to collect at their convenience. As soon as Sendle receives the scanning information telling them that there was a card left they will email the receiver with information for how to organise a redelivery. It is important to include the receiver's email so that this helpful service can be conducted. There is a field for you to include the receiver's email address during the checkout process. And the good news all round is that there is no extra cost for redelivery...woot woot!
Can we deliver to PO boxes?
No, sadly our kind of boxes cannot be delivered to those kind of boxes. This is because Australia Post won't let Sendle's courier partners deliver there. So we do require a physical street address for delivery.
Are the delivery vans refrigerated?
Although the delivery vehicles all play "Greensleeves", no they are not refrigerated. This means that there is the possibility that chocolate could soften during the delivery process. The Small Batch Gift Co is not liable if chocolate or any other products are altered as a result of their transportation. All of our gift items are stored in a cool-as-a-cucumber environment prior to delivery, and gifts are delivered ASAP to minimise any risks.
